When it comes to adventure watches, none quite compare to the Rolex Turn-O-Graph Luxury watch. There are both vintage models of this watch (From when it was first launched in 1953) as well as some newer models that are still being manufactured.
The earliest watch was the 6202 model that had a depth rating of 165 feet and had a case size of 40mm. These early watches were discontinued in the early 60′s because of the popularity of other lines but still hold their value as vintage watches. Today, the current Rolex Turn-O-Graph Luxury watch model is the Oyster Perpetual Datejust Turn-O-Graph. One of the main features of this watch is the date that is displayed at the 3 o’clock spot. This is used in conjunction with the bi-directional bezel that helps the wearer to measure the time that has elapsed. This model also is waterproof to up to 330 feet and still holds its own as an “adventure watch”. The Rolex Turn-O-Graph Luxury watch also has the self-winding feature, like many other Rolex models, and comes with a standard case size of 36mm. The watch also is fairly unique in that it has a two tone body. This two tone comes from Rolesor which is a classy combination of steel with either everose gold, white gold, or 18k yellow gold. These features are all customizable. As far as bracelets are concerned, the Rolex Turn-O-Graph Luxury watch also has a few different options. The Jubilee bracelet is the most common one that you’ll find on this model but you also can go with the Oyster bracelet if it suits you better. Other popular features on this model are the rotating fluted bezel that makes it a true Turn-O-Graph. You can also pick from a number of different dials including the black dial, the slate dial, the white dial, and even the silver dial.

The art of fusion is synonymous with the name Hublot. Since 1980, this innovative
watch making company has brought us a variety of amazing watches with the blending, or fusion, of many very different materials. This tradition continues with the Hublot 38mm Big Bang Black Ceramic – 2 Rows Diamond Bezel Model #361.CV.1270.CM.1104 ladies watch. The fusion here includes ceramic, steel, diamonds, and rubber. Beginning with the 38mm black ceramic case we see that the first fusion is that the bezel is steel that has been black carbon coated, or PVD coated. Improving on that fusion, we find the six signature ‘H’ shaped screws on the bezel are separated by double rows of diamonds. The Hublot 38mm Big Bang Black Ceramic – 2 Rows Diamond Bezel Model #361.CV.1270.CM.1104 includes 126 diamonds with a total weight of 0.87 ct. The next fusion is the classic black rubber bracelet. The black dial shows off the silver index and Arabic numeral hour markers and the two-tone silver hour hands. A sweep second hand adds that final touch of elegance. The movement of the Hublot 38mm Big Bang Black Ceramic – 2 Rows Diamond Bezel Model # 361.CV.1270.CM.1104 is quartz and it is water resistant up to 100 meters. Fusion describes many women, and wearing this exciting elegant and bold watch that is total fusion is the perfect choice.

Rolex Explorer Rolex has been making some of the best watches in the world since
the company started in 1905. The watches that are made by this company are bots extremely collectible and stylish and are highly sought by people looking for quality wrist watches. One of the most recognizable models that the company has ever put out is the Rolex Explorer.
The Explorer model is probably second only to the Datejust in recognizability. The watch is known for its black dial and large triangle marker at the 12 position. The face features luminous Arabic numerals at the other quarters, making it a perfect combination of sport and class. This watch is one of the oldest Rolex models and since it has been out for so long, has some mystery associated with its origin.
The Rolex Explorer, as indicated by its name, was designed for explorers. The dial was designed with the luminous numbers to promote visibility. The case is made from extra strong materials to take on the stresses of exploration, an the watch can even be lubricated with oils designed to withstand extreme temperature swings without changing the viscosity.
The Rolex Explorer was actually used during the first human ascent of Mt. Everest in 1953. There have been various runs in the Explorer watch with different colors on the face but the distinct triangle at the 12 position and the Arabic numerals at the quarters have always been a constant. The other telling feature of the watch is the “Explorer” label written on the face of the watch.
The Rolex Explorer continues to be one of the best selling and most collectible watches because of its history, look, and precise movement. The Rolex Explorer has actually branched into different models with the Rolex Explorer II being originally designed for use by cavers. These watches are highly collectible and would make a great addition to any collection while at the same time, they are great for daily use.

Rolex has been known for many years as one of the world’s premier watchmakers.

The company has released many highly collectable and popular models that have been designed for a variety of different applications. Many people ask which Rolex model is the right one for them and for a majority of them the Rolex Submariner will be the answer. The Rolex Submariner is undoubtedly the company’s most popular sport model watch and has been touted as the most versatile model that the company sells. The Submariner was first introduced to the public in 1954 marketed as a watch for divers. The Rolex Submariner feats the oyster case that is common on many Rolexes. The case makes the watch water resistant to one hundred and eighty meters, but there is some debate whether or not the first watches actually matched this depth rating. The first Submariner watches did not feature the now distinctive “cathedral” or “Mercedes” hands that are not used on the Submariner line, but rather use a straighter pencil style hand. Some of the Submariner watches did not have the “Submariner” logo, as it was believed to be under trademark at the time. The modern Rolex Submariner was released in 1989 and is rated at 300 meters water resistance. This edition of the watch was the first watch in the Submariner family that generated 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch features the Rolex Triplock system that is identified by 3 different dots on the crown and secure it to the case tube providing another layer of protection to the Oyster case. The case is either made of stainless steel or gold, which comes from the Rolex foundry so it can be made into alloys, and ensures its purity. The Rolex Submariner also features the perpetual rotor, which allows the watch to run continuously without being wound and without a battery. This feature adds a huge amount of functionality

Whenever you think of retirement and the thirty year mark everyone thinks of a luxury watch. Is that the first thing that comes to your mind? Then when you are the one tasked either by the office or by the family then you often wonder what it is the person would like to take with them as a remembrance of the years they had spent working. The company had been their family for thirty years.
Would they want a timepiece that they would wear only as a dress piece or do you think they would need a large face dial since they are getting older and have a harder time seeing. Would you need to look for a face that would light up? Of course, it would depend on the company they work for whether or not you are looking at a Timex or Citizen versus a high end watch like a Patek Philippe or Chanel.
Let’s take a look as if the person is retiring from a large company and it was a higher position and we could look at the higher end pieces of watches. Who would not want one of these pieces? This would be a piece that belongs to you, the status of ownership and the elegance of wearing the piece.
Knowing the durability and the quality of the item would make you feel good. Seeing the elegance and being aware of the durability and structure of a beautiful timepiece would make anyone receiving it smile. If you know the person will be traveling then the Patek Philippe World Time (model#: 5130P) would be something to research since it has multicity functions. Why not have a piece that could accommodate your travel right along with you?.
One of the other nice features of high end watches is there is a trade in value that can be used. If you do decide in a few years that the traveling is over and you want to exchange it for a dress watch well then you would have that option, also, Patek Philippe luxury watches do come with some sort of warranty whether it is with the company that made it or the company that sold it. It is a little added comfort feature for the person purchasing the item.
A gift of time can come in many styles and brands but is a beautiful reminder to anyone of the past and future and with a Patek Philippe World Time (model#: 5130P) for example…they will be able to tell you no matter what time zone they are in.
